Delta State representative, Peter Blessing who is in the female minus 49 lightweight category has revealed the level of her preparedness ahead of the Taekwando competition.
The Taekwando tournament starts today in Lagos and she will be representing Delta State.
Vying for gold medal, she has featured in two edition of the youth games winning two silver and one bronze and IGP games also in Lagos where she won gold.
“I am prepared for the competition, it doesn’t come on a platter of gold, so I am ready to give it my all for the ultimate price,” she told Sports247.
“I just want to be the best in my chosen career sport not just in Nigeria but also globally.”
The black belter also revealed the extent at which taekwando has helped in self defense, “it’s really a viable tool for self protection under any circumstances, for career and defense, you get it all in taekwondo,” she concluded.
