Delta Queens Player Cries Out For Help Over Threats To Life By Club’s CEO

Favour Damaris, a player of Delta Queens Football Club, has cried out to members of the public, Nigeria Football Federation and other relevant bodies, on the alleged breach of contract, fraud and threat to her life by the management of Delta Queens FC, and particularly, the CEO of the club, Henrietta Ehiabor.

In the letter sent to the NFF, dated August 24th, 2024, Favour Damaris, where she demanded for a provisional release letter from the NFF, she accused Delta Queens of fraudulently extending her contract from 2 years to 3 years without her consent.

She hinged her request for the provisional release letter in order for her to join a new club, since Delta Queens have breached the contract between both parties by refusing to pay her salary since June, 2024.

She is also concerned by threats to her life by Henrietta Ehiabor, who is demanding refund from her, for alleged travel tickets to Portugal, for a deal offer, she refused.

The depressed female footballer, thereby calls for a thorough investigation of the matter, as well as, giving her a provisional release letter, in order to continue her football career.
