Management and Players of Delta Queen’s FC, Asaba, have joined other Sports loving Deltans to Celebrate Cheif Tonobok Okowa on his re-appointment as the Chairman Of The Delta State Sports Commission, DSSC.
Commending the Delta. State Government for the reappointment of Cheif Tonobok Okowa as the chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission , Delta Queens FC Cheif Executive Officer, Henrrientta Ehiabor in an interview with the Press, noted that the move amounts to putting a round peg in a round hole which she said will translate into building on the successes recorded so far by Delta State in Nigerian sports.
Describing Cheif Tonobok Okowa as an Apostle of Grassroots Sports Development, Delta Queens CEO, Henrrientta said Cheif Tonobok returning as The Sports Commission’s Chairman will give room for a consolidation of his milestone acheivments in all Facets of Sports Development in the State.
She said Delta Queens have had wonderful seasons so far under the Tonobok led Sports Commission in his first tenure and are looking forward to a better relationship between the club and the sports commission ahead of the new season in The Nigeria Woman Premier League.
The Delta Queens CEO futher extolled the unique leadership qualities of Chief Tonobok, saying the management and players of Delta Queens remains confident that the DSSC chairman will continue to give his best to reflect more successes which has been the hallmark of the Sports commission under him.
