The Delta North Football Coaches Tournament will enter the semi finals stage this weekend with 4 teams set to clash at the Adaigbo Secondary School Ground Ogwashi Uku on Saturday
Osevan FC kwale who prevailed over Alika FC in penalty shootout after 0-0 at Full time will trade tackles with Ihu-iyase FC agbor who themselves defeated Emmy FC of Asaba 4-2 on penalties in the Quarter Finals. The match will kick off at 1:00pm
Big Daddy FC Agbor will seek to reach the finals when they face United fc Asaba at 3:30pm.
Big Daddy defeated Youthful Ndame FC of Kwale also on penalties after a goalless full time. However United FC Asaba got to this stage after a 1-0 Win over Dublin FC of Asaba.
The matches were originally scheduled for Kwale Township Stadium but had to be moved to Ogwashi Uku due to other pressing engagements at the Kwale Stadium.
“It’s been an interesting Tournament, Kudos to all 4 teams to get to this stage, 2 teams from Agbor, 1 from Asaba and 1 from Kwale, it goes to show that Football in these regions is picking up and with this type.of Tournament more talents will be discovered from.the region” says Dr Ken Gadaffi, Media Director of Delta North Football Coaches Association.
