Organizers have concluded all plans for the unveiling of the official logo and Mascot for the 21st edition of the National Sports Festival tagged #Delta22 today, Tuesday, 6th of July, 2022.
According to information gathered by Sports247 Nigeria, the event for unveiling of the logo and Mascot for the 2022 National Sports Festival will commence by 6 pm later in the day and will be live on the official social media pages of the biennial multi-sports events.
Recall that the Federal government approved November 2 to 15, 2022 for the 21st edition, after the 2020 edition of the bi-annual sporting event was set to take place in March 2020 in Edo state but was postponed to December 2020. It suffered another setback and was further postponed to 2021.
The National Sports Festival often referred to as the ‘Nigeria Olympics’– is organized by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Sports Commission for athletes from the 36 States of Nigeria every two years.
