The Chairman of the Ogun State Football Association and executive board member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Gani Majekodunmi, has expressed heartfelt sympathy to Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu following the recent armed robbery attack at his Abuja residence.

The incident, which occurred on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Gwarinpa Estate, left the NFF First Vice President injured, with the robbers also carting away valuable items.
In a statement, Alhaji Majekodunmi described the attack as shocking and deeply saddening. He wished Chief Anyansi Agwu a swift recovery and extended his prayers to the family.
“I am deeply saddened by the news of the attack on my friend and colleague, Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu, at his Abuja home. Such acts of violence are unacceptable and condemnable. My prayers are with him and his family during this challenging time, and I wish him a quick recovery,” Majekodunmi stated.
The Ogun FA Chairman also called on law enforcement agencies to swiftly bring the culprits to justice, emphasizing the need for improved security to protect citizens and their property.
This expression of solidarity adds to the growing support for Chief Anyansi Agwu as the football community rallies around him in the wake of the attack.
