Currently placed third in the standings with two games played, Dannaz Ladies share the same points as their hosts, Ekiti Queens, though separated by goal difference. The match will be crucial as both teams look to strengthen their position in the league.
Speaking ahead of the encounter, head coach Fatai Bashiru expressed his confidence in the team’s readiness. “Ekiti Queens showed grit and determination in their last match against Remo Stars Ladies, and we know they are a tough opponent. We understand how they play and their ability to press into the opponent’s half,” Bashiru stated.
“We are aiming for a positive result. The girls know what needs to be done, and we are finalizing our preparations for the match. It won’t be easy, especially playing away, but we are determined to give our best and keep the momentum going,” he added.
After their trip to Ekiti, Dannaz Ladies will shift focus to another tough test, as they prepare to host defending champions Edo Queens on February 5th at the Onikan Stadium at 4 pm.
