Dannaz Ladies clinched a thrilling 2-0 victory over Heartland Queens of Owerri in the showdown of the Nigerian Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership season.
The stadium buzzed with excitement as fans witnessed an intense battle of skill and determination between the two formidable teams.

The initial half saw both sides locked in a fierce struggle, with neither able to breach the opponent’s defence.
Despite numerous attempts, the score remained deadlocked as the defensive units held firm and goalkeepers thwarted every offensive move.

The turning point occurred when Dannaz Ladies’ Delight Isaac was fouled inside the penalty area, leading to a penalty kick.
With nerves of steel, Dannaz Ladies capitalized on the opportunity, converting the penalty to take a 1-0 lead.
Moments later, Delight Isaac showcased her exceptional talent once more. A well-coordinated offensive manoeuvre orchestrated by Farikike Moses found Isaac in prime position.
With impeccable precision, Isaac netted another goal, extending Dannaz Ladies’ lead to 2-0.
Despite missing out on the Super 6 as they had hoped at the beginning of the season, Dannaz Ladies redeemed themselves with this victory.
