Permanent Secretary, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Barr. Isaac Danladi, on Tuesday, accompanied President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau, to the opening ceremony of a three-pronged refereeing training programme holding in Abuja.
Danladi who expressed gratitude to the NFF President for the opportunity to attend the exercise said he was optimistic that the quality of refereeing talents on display would turn out to become some of the best in the nearest future, both in Nigeria and internationally.
He, nevertheless, appealed to the NFF President to intervene in ensuring that Nasarawa State enjoys an improved number of participants in subsequent trainings rather than the one it got in the present programme.
The Permanent Secretary vowed to work hand-in-hand with the Nasarawa State Football Referees’ Council to carry out robust recruitment of young, passionate and able talents into its fold for further development.
The Referees’ Course for women is being held alongside the Futsal Referees’ Course, and will end on Thursday, 6th July, 2023.
