This is the second time CSED is holding a sports/educational event at Edo Boys High School, which is one of the two Edusport Hubs in Edo State that CSED have identified and have a working relationship with. Edema Fuludu urged the students of the school to continue to work hard in the classroom and in their respective sports. The school Principal expressed his appreciation for the encouragement that the CSED Trustees have given to students of the school.
CSED is currently working on its goals of identifying and developing more Edusport Hubs in the Niger Delta area. Given that the year 2020 is a major sporting year, the Trustees of CSED intend to get more girls involved in sports through a “GESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion) approach” to grassroots sports development. As a result, providing girls access to sports like netball, table tennis, badminton and football would be their major target in 2020.
