Gbagada Fc hitman and hat trick hero in the match against Igamu Fc, Edema Peter has admitted that he and his teammates will try all their possible best to win the ongoing Creative Championship League.
Gbagada FC were held to a 3-3 draw by Igamu Fc in Match Day 4 of the Creative Championship League, despite going 3-1 ahead in the game, before being pecked back to a draw.
Edema Peter scored a hattrick in the match and was declared as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) on the day, after his superb display in the match.
In an interview with Sports 247 after his team’s 3-3 draw against Igamu FC, Edema admitted that he and his teammates will try all their possible best to emerge as Champions at the end of the competition.
“I can’t boost of winning the league yet, but we are trying our best to do so and I know we will get up-down”, he said.
When being asked about the impact of his coach, Olajide Akinyelo, on the team, the Prolific hitman commended his efforts on the team, acknowledging his positive impact on the squad (Gbagada Fc).
“My Coach is a very good guy and he has been trying all his possible best to get us in shape. Off and On the pitch, he is trying his possible best. He has actually pushed me on the training ground to score more goals, I can see the impact on the field, I give him kudos”, he concluded.
