Emmydinho FC Coach Ayeni Ademola has expressed his satisfaction towards his side’s 0-0 draw at the Agege stadium against League Leaders, Remo Stars U19 in their match week 7 fixture of the ongoing Creative Championship League.
Both teams tried to push for a winner but it never came as they ended up sharing the spoils.
Reacting after the match with Sports247, Coach of Emmydinho Fc, Ayeni Ademola expressed his delight towards his team picking a point against Remo Stars U19, stating that he was satisfied with his team getting a point against the league leaders.
“It was a sloppy game today, but I must commend my boys for the draw, most especially against a good team like Remo Stars. I am satisfied with the point because it is a good one for us picking a point against the League leaders”, he stated.
Also reacting with Sports247 after the game was Remo Stars U19 Coach, Olumide Ajibolade who expressed his disappointment on his side’s poor display on the day, stating that it was a sloppy display by his team.
“It was a poor display from my team today, I have to admit. We didn’t perform as we wanted. It was a very sloppy display from us, which we must work hard to correct in our next game”, he stated.
The ‘Man of the Match’ award was given to Emmydinho Fc Midfielder, Chigozie Ikejibue, Who held his own against the League leaders’ all-star midfield. The Amazing defensive midfielder was smart and disciplined with and without possession all through the game, as his team earned a point against the table toppers.
