Crown Football Club, Ogbomoso has joined the league of well wishers to His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, for his very soonest recovery from COVID-19 which he was tested positive.
The Acting General Manager of the Ajilete Warriors, Mr Oyekunle Oyeleye expressed with huge shock the saddening news of the governor’s health status.
” It was like a dream when I read the news on the official twitter handle of His Excellency about the result of the COVID-19 test on him. This is a leader who has been working assiduously with relevant bodies day and night ensuring the eradication of the pandemic in the state”.
” I believe the good people of Oyo State are with him in prayers and he will bounce back stronger and better to move the pace setting state forward”.
“I, on behalf of Crown FC, whom the governor fathers, wish our dearest GSM, whose network never fails, the soonest recovery”, the acting boss said.
The former administrative secretary of the club also urged the good people of Oyo State and the nation at large to obey the medically certified preventive measures like social distancing, washing hands regularly, use of sanitizers and dabbing while sneezing and coughing amongst others.
The CoronaVirus (COVID-19) is a pandemic that broke out in late December 2019 in the Province of Wuhan in China. The deadly airborne virus with symptoms like dry cough, sneeze, body pain, weakness ,high fever and difficulty in breathing according to the Pathology Department AIIMS, Delhi, have claimed many likes and shut down the economy of the world.
It is hoped that the chain of circulation of the virus will be broken very soonest to curb the spread and restore normalcy to human life.
