Former Super Eagles and Club Brugge attacker, Daniel ‘The Bull’ Amokachi as joined the fight against the corona virus pandemic through his philanthropic efforts.
The 1996 Olympic gold medalist took to the streets to share food items for the less privileges through his foundation called the Daniel Amokachi foundation. In his posts on his instagram page, it shows the star and workers of his foundation showing love to those who need it. In one of his posts ” the fight against covid19 continues … At the Chinese embassy to receive some relief packages’
Another of his post suggests that the war against the novel disease is a must win and encourages others to join the fight against the deadly virus. “today was good, we shall overcome” Amokachi added.
It was gathered that the former Besiktas star didn’t just start his good will ventures now but has long involved himself in helping those in need in Nigeria. He is also involved in the fight against malaria in Africa, sports247 reports.
Amokachi played many international matches for the Super eagles of Nigeria, and was part of the team that participated in the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups. He was very instrumental in the teams that won the 1994 African Nations Cup and the 1996 Olympic gold medal in Atlanta, Georgia.
