Cornelius Anthony, a second-half substitute for Liqui Moly grabbed two goals for himself as his side began the NLO 2 encounter with a 0-3 victory against Vinning FC at the Agege Soccer Temple in Group B.
The attacker added to James’ lone strike to grab all victory for his side as they take the top spot in their group.
Reacting after the game in an exclusive interview with sports247, Anthony explained that his job is to score goals, “I came in and did my job, all glory to God, I feel elated.”
“This is the first match of the league and we have three more to go. I have eight goals target in 4 games so I really look forward to seeing that target out.”
