An official press release has been made via the Iganmu FC Twitter handle that the head coach of the club in person of coach Jagnor Adebogun and his assistant Mr Babatunde John has been sacked by the management of the club. Sports247.ng report.
Recall that the club had an encounter last week with Smart City FC on Saturday 2nd July 2022 at the legacy pitch surulere Lagos losing to the away side 2-3 defeat. The loss contributed to the management decision for laying the coach and his assistant off.
As at the time of filing this report, the major reason for the decision taken by the management was as a result of the duo failing to meet the club set standards as regards player development and general team performance.
The sacked coach Mr Jagnor Adebogun has not made any official statement to the effect.
The management of the club has with immediate effect appointed the under -16 coach Mr Alada Kabiru to take charge of the first team activities temporarily untill the end of the season.
As thus the club placed on record it’s thanks for the hard work and integrity they brought to the role and wish them the best of luck.
