Head Coach of Golden Eaglets, Nduka Ugbade has expressed satisfaction with the commitment and seriousness the Alimosho football coaches showed at the one-day coaching clinic held recently in Lagos.
The one-day coaching clinic took place on Thursday at the Seamoriow Sports Center.40 coaches within Alimosho local government were in attendance.
Ugbade who was invited as a resource person told Sports247 after the coaching program that he was impressed with the response and quick understanding of the participating coaches in both theory class and practical session saying that he saw better days ahead among the Alimosho football coaches.
“Honestly I must say Alimosho football coaches did not disappoint me in terms of my classroom teaching and practical teaching. Many of them understand the game better and I am happy that Nigerian coaches have come of age,” he said.
Ugbade said what he taught them so far should also extend to their players and urged the coaches to always meditate on the teaching on a regular basis.
Some of the coaches who attended the coaching clinic commended former Super Eagles players for teaching them modern-day football coaching and player management.
Meanwhile, the Seamoriow Sports U-15 league championship would begin on Saturday at the Seamoriow Sports Center, Aberanje road, Ikotun, Lagos.
In the pairing released by the organizers, Bucknor would face Divine Stars, Sharpstrikers face Samjason academy, and Super Accurate confront FIT2 Live.
In other matches, White soccer temple tackle Alimosho academy, Hakolas face Sammy FA, KSO FA battle Alade academy, while Future Stars slug it out against TAO academy.
