The former Enyimba FC head coach is currently undergoing practical sessions with one of South Africa’s top Premier Soccer League clubs, Stellenbosch FC. Working closely with seasoned manager Steve Barker, Yema is gaining valuable hands-on experience at a club known for its competitive edge and professional structure.

This final leg of his UEFA B journey comes after previous coursework, including a training phase in Scotland. Upon completion, Yema will earn the highly regarded UEFA B coaching license—a qualification that opens doors to coaching roles across Europe and beyond.

Coach Yema’s relentless pursuit of growth and excellence in football management stands out in Nigerian football. From his days at MFM FC and Vandrezzer FC to leading Enyimba, and contributing to Nigeria’s U-17 national setup, he has consistently shown commitment to evolving as a modern, tactically astute coach.

His current work with Stellenbosch FC—currently a top-three side in the PSL—places him in an elite footballing environment, further sharpening his skills for the future. For Yema, this isn’t just about a license—it’s about legacy, leadership, and lifting African coaching standards to a global stage.
