D Shack FA head coach, Warri Charles, is off to a dream start in the ongoing Dynasty Scouting League (DSL) 2025 Season One.
Since taking charge of the Ijebu Ode-based side, the tactician has led the team to five consecutive victories and earned a nomination for the DSL Coach of the Month for March.
D Shack FA’s dominance was on full display in their week six fixture, where they demolished Rising Royal International FA 6-1, further extending their perfect run under Coach Warri.
Looking ahead to tomorrow’s highly anticipated clash against FC Bethel Sporting at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Warri expressed confidence in his team’s readiness.
“I’m optimistic we’ll grab all three points because my boys are mentally prepared,” he stated. “It won’t be an easy match. FC Bethel Sporting held Utility Sports FC to a draw last time out, so they’ll be up for the fight. But my players are more relaxed and eager to extend our winning run. We aim to score more goals and maintain a clean sheet.”
Coach Warri attributed part of the team’s success to strategic moves during the DSL transfer window, which helped bolster the squad with key additions. According to him, the focus remains on playing simple, smart football without pressure.
When asked about how he plans to contain FC Bethel Sporting’s prolific striker, Moses Ekundayo, the league’s current top scorer, Coach Warri chuckled and replied, “Laughs. I think the real question should be—can they stop us?”
With D Shack FA sitting second on the table with 16 points—level with league leaders Leal SC but behind on goal difference—a win tomorrow would not only extend their winning streak to six but also pile pressure on the current table-toppers.
