Head Coach of Team360 Football club Shola Raji warns other colleagues ahead of the Surulere Regional League 2020/2021 season to be ready for a fierce battle with his team.
The CAF C Licence holder believes irrespective of the lockdown and shutdown of football activities in the country says his boys are ready for the league and ready to lift the Trophy this season.
The wise-one as fondly called during his playing days with NEPA Football club and Stationary stores Fc said ” In as much as the Pandemic have stopped us from meeting together in training , I engage my players on virtual training programs and also individual workouts as part of the strict measures on Social distancing which I monitored and all my players adhere to the training programs. This will make my players to be fully ready when we all get back to the pitch”.
He applaud the Sport ministry for gradual ease of sport activities which begin with the non contact sports and belive football will be next to resume.
Team360 football club which is known with the high pressing play combining with possession football was the First runners up in the Kobis Championship 2020.
According to shola Raji “I cant wait for football to Resume so we can start doing what we know how to do best on the pitch and teaching my players the tactics we will be using to defeat our opponents ahead of the Surulere Regional League and other Tournaments we will be playing before end of the year”.
