Team Lagos clinched the gold medal at the prestigious national event, a triumph that Coach Olowu attributes to the unwavering support and training provided by FEFAP.

Coach Olowu’s sentiments were echoed by her deep appreciation for the President of FEFAP, Damilare Jaiyeola, and all the members of the organization.

She recognized their pivotal role in not only releasing the talented girls for the national competition but also in nurturing their skills and talents through comprehensive training.

In her words, Coach Olayinka stated, “I thank them so much for their support because, without them, I would not be where I am today.

I thank the President of FEFAP, Damilare Jaiyeola, and all members of FEFAP because if they did not release the girls for me, there wouldn’t be a female football team representing Lagos at the national games in Asaba.

I also appreciate them for the exceptional training they have provided to our girls.”

With the conclusion of the national competition, the athletes have returned to their respective clubs, marking a temporary hiatus in their collective journey.

Coach Olowu expressed her anticipation for future competitions when she can once again gather and train the talented girls.

She underscored the importance of continued cooperation and understanding between Team Lagos and FEFAP, recognizing the crucial role it plays in the development and success of female football in Lagos.

Coach Olowu’s words serve as a testament to the symbiotic relationship between football academies and national teams, highlighting the invaluable contribution of organizations like FEFAP in nurturing and fostering young talent.

As Team Lagos basks in the glory of their gold medal triumph, the future of female football in Lagos appears brighter than ever, thanks to the collaborative efforts of dedicated individuals and institutions like FEFAP.
