With the ‘Senior Man’ ‘s completion of registration into the team, he has been declared fit and available for selection according to the coach of the team, Garcia Pimienta as Sevilla plays their game at home this season.
Garcia defended his refusal to allow Ejuke, play a part against Las Palmas last week after he had a great season with the team.
” I didn’t consider the change because I saw that the team was doing well ” said Garcia in his press conference ahead of the match against Villarreal on Thursday.
The coach then gave an assurance of his readiness to start or play a part on Friday ” He is very good and ready to play”.
Meanwhile, coach Garcia Pimienta has made a fresh demand on Iheanacho, Ejuke and the rest of the squad as they need to be more aggressive in their game and ask forward players to add defensive duties to their game while admitting that the team is yet to play the way he wants them to play.
” By all means we want an aggressive Sevilla , a Sevilla the fans will be proud of “.
” I would like the team to be recognisable , regardless of whether we play at home or away”, said Garcia.
The coach also wants the team to improve in the defence after they failed to pick maximum points despite scoring two goals against Las Palmas, he then charges the forward players to track back to helpthe defensive line.
” When you score two goals , I’d like it to be enough for us to win the game . We have to be more solid defensively in every sense , not just on the defensive line, this is everyone’s job, we all aware we have to work hard in this area”, submitted Garcia.
Sevilla will be playing their game at the Ramon Sanchez- Pizjuan stadium in front of their fans this season against Villarreal, as both teams go for their season’s first victory.
The kick off is 5 pm on Friday .
