Speaking during an interview, Danjuma highlighted the significance of professionalism in the team’s recent successes.
“The players at Nasarawa Amazons have shown remarkable professionalism, both on and off the field.
Their commitment and dedication have been instrumental in our achievements,” Danjuma remarked, praising the players’ exemplary conduct.
The coach’s remarks came in response to questions about his decision to include some players who had recently represented the Falconets in the African Games in Ghana, in a subsequent NWFL match just three days later.
Despite the grueling contest that ended in a loss for the Falconets against the host nation in the final, Danjuma’s side emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over Dannaz Ladies of Lagos in the NWFL match.
Explaining his strategies, Danjuma emphasized the importance of maintaining a winning mentality and expressed gratitude for the team’s success.
“Our target now is the Super-6. After the next match, by the grace of God, we are already one leg in the Super 6.
We’ll take it one leg at a time, making sure we do not accidentally get into any unplanned stage.
When we get to the Super-6 with the right mentality, we’ll try and see how we can surpass whatever records we have before now,” Danjuma outlined, expressing optimism for the team’s future endeavors.
Danjuma underscored the team’s aspirations to compete in the Super-6 and continental competitions, emphasizing their commitment to professionalism by fielding players without resting them after international duty.
Danjuma’s insightful remarks reflect his dedication to fostering a culture of professionalism and success within Nasarawa Amazons, setting ambitious goals for the team’s future endeavors
