The Nigeria National League (NNL) has affirmed its resolve to continue to promote and create needed standards for the good of the League.
Rising from a crucial meeting at its Secretariat in Wuse Zone 7, Abuja Thursday the NNL took steps to further encourage all clubs to take advantage of the MEDIA BROADCAST clause enshrined in its rule books.
In a six (6) point item, the NNL reminded its 46 clubs in the North and South Conferences to note that:
1.Subject to Rights and approval by NNL and that of the League broadcast Owner(s), clubs are entitled to negotiate local radio broadcast rights for additional revenue generation as well as create awareness for their activities.
2. Clubs have the right to broadcast (Cover) their matches home and away and this must not stop the prosecution of any NNL match.
3. That Clubs are permitted to beam their games home and away with any amount of equipment (Cameras) that they can afford unrestricted and unhindered.
4.The penalty for any club refusing or stopping the process of broadcasting (Live streaming) of matches either home or away is N500,000.00 (Five hundred Thousand Naira Only).
5. For the League the NNL has the exclusive right to negotiate and or enter into commercial deals, Broadcasting contracts, Tv/Radio Contracts, Title Sponsorships, etc.
6. The League‘s broadcast Right owners have exclusive and unencumbered access to all the League venues.
