The Football club Owners Association of Nigeria (club Owners) have expressed shock over the untimely death of the assistant captain of Remo Stars Football Club, Tiamiyu Kazeem.
It was reported that the young star player was arrested by officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and in a controversial circumstance was pushed down from a moving police vehicle before being crushed to death by another oncoming vehicle.
Club Owners said the untimely death of the promising young star under such controversial circumstances requires a full scale investigation by the police to unravel the remote cause of his death.
The Association in a statement jointly signed by the chairman Barr. Isaac Danladi and the Executive Secretary Alloy Chukwuemeka condole with his immediate family and friends, the Management, supporters ,Players and officials of Remo stars FC as well as the entire Football family.
Club Owners prayed for the repose of the soul of Kazeem and for God to give the family the fortitude to bear his painful loss.
