Technical director in the board of Nigeria Taekwondo Federation (NTF), Chika Chukwumerije has appealed to the private sector to support the body financially, in order to help them meet up with their programmes.
The three-time Olympian added in an interview with sports247.ng that taekwondo needs support from everyone and different sectors across the country, as government cannot fund sports alone.
Chukwumerije said the NTF is already in need, as they prepare for the Nigeria International Taekwondo Open slated for November in Abuja.
