Nigeria International Samuel Chimerenka Chukwueze reveals his intention to end the season on a high after being rated the Most Valuable African Player at the U-20 level.
The Villarreal youngster who is rated 12th on the most Valuable Teenager list with a value of €35 million wants to end the season on a high.
“It’s always a pleasure for me to see my name being mentioned among the best at what I do. For me it’s a privilege and I want to continue doing my best to ensure I even keep getting better,” a delighted Chukwueze stated.
“It’s been a good first season for me as a professional and I want to ensure I keep giving my best on the pitch to ensure I finish the season on a good note.”
Chukwueze who joined Villarreal in 2017 from Diamond Football Academy after a move to Arsenal did not materialize has made great contribution in his debut season with the Yellow Submarine.
The Umuahia-born winger has made 37 appearances for the Spanish side this season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists.
The 19-year-old remains a target of top European clubs this summer with the Yellow Submarine stating that only a club record transfer fee will tempt them into parting ways with the young Nigerian.
