Former Super Eagles coach, Christian “Chairman” Chukwu has commended the Anambra Football Association Chairman Gen. Chikelue Iloenyosi for his football development stride in the state. The renowned retired footballer emphasized that the experience of Iloenyosi will be key in the continued face lifting of the game in Anambra state especially at the grassroot.
I commend in a special way the General, the Anambra State Football Association Chairman, my son. I have seen what he has done for Anambra State Football. I am so proud of him, he is the youngest FA chairman in office and maybe with age as well and he has shown great capabilities and resourcefulness within these few months he took over. I believe in what he can do because I know him very well and I am sure that football and it’s development won’t remain the same after 2 years in that seat.
The Former Enugu Rangers captain also urged football stakeholders in the Anambra to support the vision and goal of Iloenyosi in moving the game to the desired height in the state.
“Now that what he has done for Anambra football is visible and his intentions to develop the game are clear, it’s only natural that right thinking Anambrarians will join hands with General to make this dream a reality. So I am calling all the football stakeholders in the state to come together and work with him to continue making football great again in the state.
Recall that Gen. Chikelue Iloenyosi played under Coach Christian Chukwu when the latter was the Super Eagles handler.
