Ucheibe, 23, featured for Benfica in a tough 2-1 win against Racing Power FC, which sealed their Liga BPI crown, with Benfica’s captain Carole Costa scoring twice from the penalty spot.

This victory marks the fourth league title in Benfica’s history, and Christy Ucheibe has been a part of each triumph. She joined Benfica from Swedish club, Assi IF in 2020 and has since been an integral part of the team’s success.

In addition to the league title, Benfica also won the Super Cup and the League Cup this season, defeating their eternal rivals Sporting in both competitions. With the Portuguese Cup still to play for, also against Racing Power, Benfica could potentially secure a treble.

With the 2024 Olympics tournament in Paris on the horizon, Christy Ucheibe is expected to be part of the Super Falcons squad.
