Former Sunsel Fc striker Henry Chiche Okpala has joined Les Buffles Du Borgou of Ben’in Republic for a two year deal.
Okpala who moved from FCT Basic Maracana in 2018 to emerged the Nationwide League One Division Two, NLO2 (Yenogoa Center) highest goal scorer and was also nominated among future stars in the Tic2F continental tournament in Port Novo the same year.
The easy going and promising lad was recommended by a Germany Based Agent, Rolland Zohoun to undergo a 30 days training Camp with Portuguese Premiere Liga side, Victoria Sports Club Guimaraes before the struck of Covid-19 Pandemic.
Returning back to NIgeria, the much improved Chiche Okpala inspired Sunsel Fc with his formidable striking partner Abuchi Nnamani (2021 NLO2 Highest goal scorer) to gain promotion to the NIgeria Nationwide League One.
Okpala who was assigned the number 9 jersey in his new club(Buffles)is hoping to wear the Buffles Jersey in the 2021 invitational West Africa Challenge Cup and the CAF Champions league with ben’in republic side.
