Heartland Football Club has taken a strategic step towards enhancing its operations by appointing Casmir Mbachu as the General Coordinator.

This move was confirmed by Imo State’s Commissioner for Youth, Sports, and Social Development, Honourable Emeka Okoronkwo, during a recent management meeting.
The appointment aims to fortify the club’s structure as it sets its sights on securing a continental ticket in the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League season.
Okoronkwo expressed his enthusiasm for the appointment, emphasizing its significance in elevating the team’s capabilities.
He underlined the importance of Mbachu’s extensive experience in this role, particularly as Heartland embarks on its journey in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
“Heartland is targeting a continental ticket in the new Nigeria Professional Football League season and we expect that he will bring his wealth of experience to bear on the Team,” he remarked.
The elevation of Heartland to the Nigeria Professional Football League follows their triumph in the 2023 Nigeria National League promotion playoffs held in Asaba.
