CAF has appointed Sierra Leones Bangura Swahib to officiate Rivers United’s CAF Champions League preliminary round 2nd leg qualifier against Watanga FC at the Samuel Kayon Doe Sports Complex Paynesville, Liberia.
The 30-year-old will be assisted by compatriots, Michael Conteh (Assistant I), Ibrahim Bah (Assistant II) and Alhajie Musa Kabia (Fourth referee).
The match will be played on Sunday, September 18.
Langtombong tombong Tamba from Gambia will serve as Match Commissioner, while John Clarence Yaskey II from Liberia works as COVID-19 Officer.
Watanga FC and Rivers United will clash for the second time at club level on Sunday in Total Energies CAF Champions League preliminary round 2nd leg encounter after the 1st leg in Port Harcourt,Nigeria ended 3-0 in favour of Rivers United. Kick-off is scheduled for 4pm (Liberian time) and 5pm (Nigerian time).
