Rivers United arrived Libya for the second leg of their CAF Confederations Cup group stage qualifying play off game against Al Nasr Benghazi after a thorough thumping in the first leg.
Rivers United triumphed with a 5-0 scoreline but skipper Festus still believes the job is not done.
“We’re here in Benghazi and we’re here for business. We have done 50 percent of the job in Nigeria and we just need to push a little more and get the job done,” Festus said.
Reacting to the actions encountered, not being able to train and stadium lights being shut when the team went for its first training session, the captain said, “We came out for training yesterday and their fans were hostile towards us and we couldn’t train but today it’s better because we have security around”.
“It’s going to be a difficult game but at the end, we’ll carry the day,” he added.
Rivers United host their Libyan counterparts on Wednesday, 9th November by 8pm Nigerian time at the Benghazi Stadium and the winner will advance to the group stage of the competition.
