CAFCC: It’s Not Over Yet For Enyimba- Bashir

Enyimba FC of Aba forward, Abdulrahman Bashir is staying optimistic over the club’s chances of reaching the final of this year’;s CAF Confederation Cup, as he says it is not over yet for The Peoples’ Elephant.

Although Enyimba lost the first leg of their semi-final clash with Raja Casablanca 1-0 in Aba on Wednesday, Bashir insisted in an interview with sports247.ng that his team will pull off a shock in the second leg.

While many critics believe it is all over for Enyimba, considering the renowned pedigree of North African clubs at this level, the youthful attacker insists the siutaition is still salvageable.

He is of a strong view that the Aba club will do what they did against Djoliba of Mali, but overcoming all odds to beat Raja in Morocco.

Bashir told sports247.ng: “It is not yet over for Enyimba despite losing at home against Raja Casablanca of Morocco.

“It is not until the end of the second leg away in Morocco that you can say what has happened. But I am sure that Enyimba can also beat the Moroccan side to still qualify.”
