Reacting to the draws, released by CAF this afternoon, he maintained that Nigerian flag bearer will not underrate any side, adding that his team are battle ready for the task ahead
“We have seen the draws, we know that Nigeria and Ghana are age long rivalries in the round leather game. We are going out to Cote D’Ivoire to play football not for jamboree, every team participating in this champions league is important, we are going there with one thing in mind that is to play and win. So it is a serious business for Edo Queens and for Nigeria.”
“We are not depending on man but God. I’m quite aware that we have a big task ahead of us, my girls are not scared of any team. We are going for war and we are ready to fight.”
In the WAFU-B draws conducted today at the CAF headquarters Caro Egypt, Edo Queens are in Group B along side Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana, Omnisports Etincelle FC of Burkina Faso, and AS Garde Nationale of Niger.
As Edo Queens do battle with the Hasaacas Ladies winners winners of 2021 edition, the host country Inter D’Abidjan of Cote D’Ivoire, will trade tackles with Ainonvi FC of Benin Republic and AS kazah of Togo.
