The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the list of young referees selected for the upcoming Young Talents Referee Course, set to take place in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, from March 3 to 6, 2025.

The list, published on Friday morning, features 31 center referees, 22 assistant referees, 9 Video Assistant Referees (VAR), 6 instructors, 5 CAF staff members, and 3 IT support technicians.
While no Nigerian referee made it into the center referee category, Nigeria’s Muhammad Yakubu has been chosen as an assistant referee for the prestigious training program.
