Lobi Stars have discovered the three teams that stand in their way for a spot in the CAF Champions League quarterfinals.
The Pride of Benue are into the group stages of the tournament for the second time in history, but will not have it easy if they want to finish in the top two of Pool A to make it into the next round.
Solomon Ogbeide’s side face Mamelodi Sundowns, ASEC Mimosas and Wydad Casablanca from South Africa, Ivory Coast and Morocco respectively, and will need to get results against all three if they’re going to manage to secure a spot in the quarterfinals.
Stars accounted for the scalp of Gor Mahia in the last round, and will be hoping to push on even further when the group stages get underway.
