The semi-final fixtures of the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League are now locked in.
South African heavyweights Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns joined by Egyptian sides Al Ahly and Pyramids FC in what promises to be a blockbuster climax to the competition.

Pirates see off MC Alger to book semi-final place
Orlando Pirates became the last team to secure a spot in the final four after playing out a 0-0 draw with Algeria’s MC Alger in Johannesburg on Wednesday evening.
The South African outfit capitalized on their slender 1-0 victory in the first leg to progress 1-0 on aggregate.
It was a disciplined and professional display from the Buccaneers, who were solid defensively and denied their visitors any route back into the tie.
Coach Jose Riveiro will now prepare his side for a semi-final clash against Pyramids FC.
Pyramids FC’s dream run continues
The Egyptian club continues to make history after eliminating Morocco’s AS FAR Rabat 4-3 on aggregate.
Despite a nervy 2-0 loss away from home in the second leg, their dominant first-leg performance in Cairo proved enough to take them into the semi-finals for the first time.
They now set up a showdown with Pirates in what will be the club’s biggest continental tie yet.
Al Ahly and Sundowns renew rivalry
Record ten-time winners Al Ahly booked their ticket with a 2-0 aggregate win over Sudan’s Al Hilal.
Imam Ashour’s goal in both legs proved crucial as Marcel Koller’s side look to defend their crown and claim yet another title.
They will now face Mamelodi Sundowns, who edged Esperance of Tunisia 1-0 over two legs. The two teams are no strangers, having met several times in recent seasons in classic CAF battles.
