Lagos state based academy, Buruj Sports Academy that was recently shortlisted and ranked top amidst academies in Nigeria by the Football governing body (Nigeria Football Federation) whose philosophy revolves around playing great football and giving young players a chance to showcase their skills through international tourneys/trials in Europe and the United Kingdom has called for encouragement and support amidst growing concerns of the establishment.
Parent / Guardian who believes in the academy’s pathway thus registering their wards to run a soccer skills development program, giving them adequate support morally and financially out of which the academy make provision for facilities, accommodation, training kits, medical care, transportation, accreditation, payment and remittance of dues to the tax authorities i.e Federal Inland Revenue Services and Lagos State Inland Revenue Services i.e Education Tax, VAT, CIT, PAYE amongst others have all been charged for more.
The CEO also encourage other academies and well to do industries in Nigeria to comply with the government by remitting all dues accordingly, to emulate the pay your tax syndrome as practiced in developed countries like UK, UAE, and other European Union.
This will challenge the government to do more than what they are currently doing and expect more improvement in the Nigeria Government system.
The academy remains cognizance and versatile in impacting the best on their players, with adequate discipline we inculcate which grows in them while they evolve in the game of football.
Upon the completion of the soccer skills development program, players are issued certificates while outstanding players who stay dedicated after been mold into a marketable piece and getting the nod of the technical crew can get the opportunity to be recruited into the Football Club by playing under genuine contract.
