Buruj Sports Academy Chairman, Waheed Salaudeen has revealed that the academy is set in its infrastructural equipment’s facilities arrangements in preparation to resume sporting activities as soon as the Federal Government presses the green light button.
All sporting activities were put on hold earlier this year due to the ravaging coronavirus which has claimed many lives, although some European league finished their season and some declared it null and void, in Nigeria, The Federation is still wary of the pandemic hence the delayed resumption and League cancellation with Championship spots allotted through the use of PPG.
The chairman posited: “We are braced up for the imminent sports resumption kick-off ahead of the new football season in September or October as announced by the governing Federation, everything is set for us in terms of facilities, and even the lads are raring to go, they can’t wait.”
“We understand how deadly this virus is hence the need for precautionary steps in protecting these lads, we have the facilities to aid and keep them safe in place, the technical team already knows what they have to do, the coach is also in regular touch to keep up their fitness level, we have some plans to be implanted, it’s just time and we know that very soon, the world will go back to normal,” he affirmed.
