Now that the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Buruj Sports Academy has come and gone, attention of the management, technical crew and players of Buruj Sports Academy have been shifted to preparation for their first international outing in the year.
To this end, recruitment of new players will be reopened to fill the few slots remaining to complete the squad while the players in camp will be put through their paces so that they can be in good condition both physically, mentally and psychologically ahead of their departure.
The CEO, Salaudeen Waheed, has vowed to use his years of experience and international connection to create good platform for young players from the grassroots to shine and play their way to stardom this year so as to build on the success recorded during the recent outing in the last couple of the year.
Some of the international competitions where the academy has got the nod to feature this year include the English Super Cup where they are the defending champions, the Manchester Super Cup, the Spanish Cup where they will be featuring for the first time, the Welsh Super Cup and Dubai International Super Cup amongst others.
Already, members of the public have been expressing their interest to sponsor their wards while only few spaces are remaining ahead of the first outing which will take place in the next couple of months.
However, the management are making frantic arrangement to secure travel documents for players who have fulfilled the conditions while the entry will close in the next few weeks to avoid logistics bottleneck.
