The former Governor of Lagos State clocks a new age on Friday, March 29, and encomiums and tributes have been pouring in from well-meaning individuals and organisations whose life the ‘Jagaban Borgu’ has touched with his legendary political exploits and philanthropic gesture over the years.
There is no doubting the fact that the one time Senator of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria has established a political network and also raised some disciples all of who are now making waves in the country’s sociopolitical landscape, a feat the CEO of the academy Salaudeen Waheed said deserves sincere recognition in such a time like this.
“We, at Buruj Sports Academy, on the auspicious occasion of birthday celebration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu wish to join his family members, political associates, friends and well-wishers to celebrate him. He is no doubt the rallying point for all progressives not only in Lagos State alone but in the entire country. No one can deny him of that honour,” the man popularly called ‘The Doctor’ began.
“Since he broke into the scene in 1999, his influence and political stocks have continued to rise. Like a colossus, he has dominated the political firmament with savvy and sagacity and we can only pray for good health for him as he attain a new age so that he can continue to contribute more to the peace, progress and sociopolitical and economic advancement Lagos State in particular and our beloved country, Nigeria as a whole,” he enthused.
