As the countdown to their departure date to the United Kingdom to feature in the English International Super Cup competitions, the management of Buruj Sports Academy has lined up two more friendly games to prepare the team.
The first of the two warm-up games will hold this Sunday, July 7, against familiar foes, Eko Football Future Stars at the Agege Stadium, commencing from 7.am, while the second one will be against Talent Hunt Academy at Gbagada on Tuesday, July 9 by 4.pm.
According to the CEO of the academy, his management team are living no stone unturned in their quest to package a solid team for the tough tests that await them in England.
He also disclosed that more games will come up in the runup to the departure time so that the young players will be in top shape ahead of their outings.
“We want to build a strong team and that is why we are engaging the team with tough friendly games against some good teams. We beat Eko Future Stars the other day and we want to test our might against them again.”
“They are a very strong team who can provide the kind of opposition we are expecting in the UK. The same thing with Talent Hunt Academy; and hopefully more games will come before we finally depart,” he said.
