The CEO of Buruj Sports Academy Salaudeen Waheed has hailed the outgoing governor of Lagos Goveenor Akinwunmi Ambode for what he described as worthy cause that will promote sports development in Lagos.
As part of his valedictory activities. the Governor over the weekend hosted the legends of African football which includes many Nigerian and international ex -footballers in Lagos and a novelty football match was played inside Agege Stadium.
The man popularly called Dr.Buruj was the opinion that as a stakeholders in football development at the grassroots. the even was another watershed in the quest to making Lagos State a real Centre of Excellence in sports development.
“I graced the ocassion of hosting the African legends of football and as a stakeholder. I want to hail Governor Ambode and all the ex-soccer stars who featured.”
