In continuation of preparations for their next international outings, the management of Buruj Sports Academy has lined up two test games for both the old and new set of players being put together for the trip.
The first of the two warm-up games will hold today against Sunshine Football Academy at Gbagada Grassroots Sports Centre by 2.00 pm while the second will be against Yaba Technology School Team on Friday by 3.00pm at Yaba Technology Playing Ground.
Following their return from the United Kingdom where they participated in both the English and Welsh Super Cup tournaments, the management and technical crew have put machinery for registration of a new set of players in motion and there are still many slots to be filled.
The management, apparently not willing to leave any stone unturned have vowed to continue to engage the players with rigorous friendly and test matches to ascertain their level of readiness.
The game against Sunshine Academy, a very good team they have played against previously, will therefore provide ample opportunity for both the old and new set of players to prove their mettle so that the coaching crew will no the area of deficiencies as they are poised to raise a strong team full of young and exciting talents who can play their way to stardom in during the next foreign outings.
“We are working hard to raise a strong team- even better than the previous teams and that’s why we want to keep the boys busy.”
“Sunshine will give us a good test today before we will face Yaba Tech Team on Friday. Both games are important for us to know how far we have gone in terms of preparation,” CEO Salaudeen Waheed explained.
