After losing 4-0 in a friendly game against Right Football Academy last weekend in their very first game in the new year, players of Buruj Sports Academy will return to training on Monday ahead of another duel against Gbagada FC commencing from 8.00am
The match against Gbagada FC will hold on Friday at Araromi Youth Development Center- a venue that has been designated to host the team training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays henceforth.
Despite the fact that they lost the match against Right Academy, the CEO of the academy Salaudeen Waheed said the objective of the game was achieved as the coaching crew managed to give all the players in camp some minutes to overcome match-rustiness.
He also promised that the game against Gbagada FC will be better as all the noticeable loopholes in the team must have been taken care of. The idea of engaging in those games is to build the tactical and technical ability of the players ahead of their many outings this year both at home and abroad.
The management of the academy are already putting finishing touches to their registration procedures and they have promised to give more slots to new players to shine in world class competitions this year.
