Arsenal youngster, Bukayo Saka is set for another outing with The Gunners’ main team, as he has been listed for their Europa League match against Qarabağ at the Emirates Stadium in London.
Though it would be his second game in the competition, sports247.ng can report that the England under-19 winger, who has four goals and five assists in 13 league matches for Arsenal’s youth teams this term, will be seeking his home senior debut in front of The Gunners’ fans.
The 17-year-old Saka became the youngest player of Nigerian descent to debut for Arsenal and play in the Europa League when he was introduced for the final 22 minutes against Vorskla Poltava on November 29.
Aged 17 years, 2 months, 24 days, Saka defied all odds to help Unai Emery’s side get an away win and reach the last 32 of the Europa League.
Heading into Thursday’s last match, they are already confirmed as group winners and Saka could get another opportunity to play, as the Spanish tactician might rest some players for Sunday’s trip to Southampton.
