It is safe to say Broad City FC forward, Kazeem Shobanke is loving life under the tutelage of the club’s new head coach Micah Bello.
Kazeem was in an inspired form when Broad City encountered Danjuma Babes FC in the MD 4 of the 2021 Fusion Football Championship.
The striker scored one and created another as his side ran out 3-0 winners.
Commenting on his superb performance, Kazeem said: “It’s the coach’s spirit. It’s the coach that gives us the spirit. We are thanking him [Micah Bello] for his training methods. With the training we are only going to get better individually and as a team.”
Kazeem remarked on the improvement of his side’s defense which has come in for some criticism lately after they conceded four goals in their last game.
“Our defense today was good. And our goalkeeper is one of the best around. He is just coming back. He made some important saves.
“We are winning our next match. I am targeting a hat-trick in the next game,” Kazeem confidently said.
Quizzed on his goals for the foreseeable future, he added:
“To play in Europe, the Premier League, and Champions League. I want to make a name for my family and make a name for my club Broad City.”
