On Saturday, Broad City FC cruised to a 3-0 win over Danjuma Babes FC in the Match Day 4 of the 2021 Fusion Football Championship.
Second half strikes from Kazeem Shobanke and Boluwatife Iwuajoku(2) saw Broad City pick up the maximum three points to move up to eight position in the table with 7 points.
Broad City FC manager Micah Bello was very impressed with the showing of his team and described the performance as ‘fantastic’. Bello told Sports247:
“The performance today was fantastic. My boys followed my instructions. In our last game we were able to score four goals against a very good side. But we conceded four so throughout the week I was working on our defensive principles; how we defend, how we want to delay attacks and break attacks of our opponents. We were able to do that effectively today. We conceded no goals.
“We created chances as usual. We know that won’t be our problem but we created chances and we were able to take some. I am very happy with the game. I think the scoreline was fantastic.”
