Shocking news coming out of Mauritius states that Nigeria’s Ese Brume will miss out on competing in her long jump event due to passport issues.
The field events at the 2022 African Senior Athletics Championship were billed to start today, day 2 of the competition in Mauritius but reports according to @MakingOfChamps on Twitter explains that Brume won’t be part as she couldn’t make the trip to Port Louis due to passport issues.
“Nigeria’s Ese Brume will miss the women’s Long Jump event, as she was unable to make the trip to Port Louis because of passport issues,” Making of Champions who have a reporter on ground tweeted.
Ese Brume had previously won three consecutive African Championships titles beginning in Marrekesh 2014, Durban 2016 & back home in Asaba, Delta State in 2018.
